Elden Ring is one of the most famed titles of 2022, as it bagged several Game of the Year wins. And it seems like FromSoftware’s award winning streak will continue in 2023, as the RPG title has managed to receive yet another award. This time the award comes from the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers Association, as Elden Ring wins the Nebula award for best game writing.
FromSoftware and Bandai Namco’s most popular title was written by renowned writers, George R.R. Martin and Hidetaka Miyazaki. George R.R. Martin is known for his monumental books, which includes the novels behind franchises like HBO’s Game of Thrones. Hidetaka Miyazaki on the other hand has done wonders in the past too, as he is known for bringing the world, the Dark Souls series.
FromSoftware will be adding yet another award to it never-ending list for Elden Ring with this victory at the Nebula Awards. However this one wasn’t as easy to grasp because the competition was cutthroat. Elden ring emerged victorious against the likes of Annapurna Interactive’s Stray, Paradox Interactive’s Vampire: The Masquerade – Sins of the Sires, Guerrilla Games’ Horizon Forbidden West, Wizards of the Coast: Dungeons & Dragons 5th Ed’s Journeys through the Radiant Citadel and finally Obsidian Entertainment’s Pentiment.
