Elden Ring Devs Respond To Framerate and Easy Anti Cheat PC Issues

Elden Ring may have launched to rave reviews from critics, but now that the highly anticipated RPG is in the hands of players, many are disappointed with the glitches and performance issues on PC.

Although there are issues present on both the console and PC version of Elden Ring, it’s fair to say that the PC community is having much more of an issue. Thankfully, FromSoftware has heard the feedback loud and clear and have issued a new statement surrounding the issues.

FromSoftware Respond To Elden Ring Performance Issues On PC

FromSoftware began by thanking fans for their feedback whilst also apologising for any inconvenience caused by the issues players are experiencing.

Alongside general performance issues on the PC version of Elden Ring, many players are experiencing server framerate issues and failure of the Easy Anti-Cheat program launching on startup.

These were just two of the items that are set to be revised by the developers. FromSoftware’s full list of planned fixes can be found below:

• Mouse being too sensitive on PC
• Easy Anti-Cheat failing to launch when the Steam account name is set to 2-byte characters
• General framrate and performance related issues during Elden Ring gameplay on PC
• PlayStation 5 game data not saving correctly

Many of the issues above will reportedly be fixed in a future patch, but the developers did state that updating GPU drivers may fix the framerate issues on PC.

Whilst PlayStation 5 users have been prompted to ensure they shut down Elden Ring correctly and save as frequently as possible to avoid losing any progress. Players can save correctly by quitting the game using the ‘Option’ button and selecting ‘Quit Game’.
