Elden Ring Confessor Class Guide: Everything You Need To Know

Elden Ring is a game that has just been released by FromSoftware and it is on its path to break all the records created by the previous instalments from the developers. Elden Ring is a role-playing, fantasy style, open-world, action-adventure game that offers an immersive gameplay experience to the players.

In the game, one of the biggest decisions that players will make is choosing a class and building it to its strengths. In total there are 10 classes for the player to choose from and the class selection will set the pace for the player’s playstyle for the entirety of the game. The dominant stats of the Confessor class are Dexterity, Faith, and Mind. The player’s fighting style will include a combination of melee attacks and miracles. The Confessor Class is one of the best picks for a player that is just planning to get in to Elden Ring. The Confessor Class will be the go to choice for people that are looking to create a strong Paladin build in the game.

Confessor Class Keepsake

As always, the players should choose the Golden Seed for the Keepsake for any class they create. Golden Seed trumps all the other Keepsakes as it provides the player with an extra flask that can be used towards extra health or extra mana for them.

Confessor Class Equipment

For the equipment for the Confessor Class in the beginning, the players should first get their hands on the Brass Shield. This weapon will provide them with 100% physical block and an added advantage of consuming less stamina, as the shield has high Guard Boost Stats. To obtain the Brass Shield, players will have to loot it from enemies that are located at the Waypoint Ruins. Here they will have to defeat any enemy that has equipped the shield, and one of them will end up dropping it.

Players should also attach an Ashes of War to their equipment as this will provide a special ability that will buff the stats of the player and his summons. The Ashes of War can be obtained by taking down the Knight that is located at an edge of a cliff near Stormhill, this will also apply Holy Damage to the player’s weapon.

One more Ashes of War that will help the player get by in the game is the Barricade Shield. This Ashes of War will provide a significant buff to the player’s shield making it even more easier to absorb attacks from stronger enemies and provide the player with enough time to strategise their next plan of attack. This Ashes of War can be acquired by defeating a Knight Cavalry that roams near the Site of Grace located in Weeping Peninsula.

Building Confessor Class

While building the Confessor Class stats in Elden Ring, the players will need to primarily focus on 4 types, Strength, Endurance, Faith and Vigor. Strength is the most important one as this stat comes in use while using the shield and also when inflicting damage. Endurance stats build the stamina of the player, using the shield in battle will consume a lot of stamina, players will need ample amount of stamina to unleash their wrath on their enemies after blocking a significant number of their attacks.

Faith will be needed as the Confessor Class takes the help of miracles and incantations during combat. The Faith stat will provide the player with more damage and extra healing through the miracles and incantations they use. The last and final one is Vigor and this stat is important for all classes. Having high Vigor stats in the game will allow the player to absorb more damage from the enemies, a skill that will come in handy against the more difficult enemies.

Confessor Class Incantations Trader

If the players are looking to add more incantations to their arsenal, but are not able to find a trader, they should head over to Caelid in the east of Stormhill. Here they should rest at the Site of Grace. After the player has rested, they will be taken to the Roundtable Hold, which is the hub for NPCs in the game. Here they will be able to find an Incantations Trader and buy some spells from him.

Confessor Class Playstyle

This Confessor Class Build in Elden Ring will focus more towards survivability than damage. The stat boosts will help the protect that player and their playstyle will include a collection of mainly blocking and attacking. This class will not help the players take down enemies faster, but survive long enough to build a successful strategy to take down any enemy that comes their way.
