The latest trailer for Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves conjures up chaos, comedy and camaraderie as a group of unlikely adventurers set out on a mission to retrieve a lost relic.
Paramount Pictures has unleashed a fun new trailer for Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves, the upcoming movie starring Chris Pine, Michelle Rodriguez, Regé-Jean Page, Justice Smith, Sophia Lillis, Chloe Coleman, Daisy Head and Hugh Grant. Check it out below:
The trailer brings the rich world and playful spirit of the legendary roleplaying game to life by following the movie’s main players on an epic quest — one that features action-packed combat, a healthy dose of humor, and a flight of winged beasts, including a very chunky dragon.
Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves is directed by Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley, who, along with Michael Gilio, wrote the screenplay. They wanted the script to include things D&D fans would appreciate yet tell a story that a newcomer could enjoy just as much.
“The monsters, the creatures, the magic, the locations, all of that you will see portrayed. But we’re not trying to bog you down,” Daley told IGN in a breakdown of the trailer. “We wanted this to be a big fun adventure that felt a little bit different than the ones that you’re used to seeing.”
Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves is produced by Jeremy Latcham, Brian Goldner, and Nick Meyer while Goldstein and Daley serve as executive producers alongside Denis L. Stewart, Chris Pine, Zev Foreman, and Greg Mooradian.
The movie is scheduled to hit US theaters on March 31 — the same month as Creed III, Scream VI, Shazam! Fury of the Gods, and John Wick: Chapter 4.
