BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Lindsey Wilson’s (Ky.) Cameron Dukes was named the CoSIDA Football Academic All-America of the Year, the national organization announced.
Lindsey Wilson’s Eli Cross and Joe Gressette, Thomas More’s (Ky.) Mason Kramer and Keiser’s (Fla.) Sage Chen-Young all join Dukes on the Academic All-America Team.
This marks the second straight season that Dukes has headlined the CoSIDA NAIA All-America NAIA Football Team. He has a 3.74 cumulative grade-point average studying towards a Master of Business Administration and a 3.84 GPA in his undergraduate studies, where he gained his degree in physical education and health. Dukes led the Blue Raiders to a 12-1 season and an appearance in the NAIA FCS Semifinals.
Cross is a graduate student with a 3.93 GPA working towards his Masters of Business Administration. Gressette is a graduate student with a 3.92 GPA in counseling and human development. The duo anchored an offensive attack that posted the third-highest scoring average in the NAIA at 45.1 points per game.
Kramer is a senior exercise and health strategies major with a 3.36 GPA. This season he caught 11 passes for 63 yards and two touchdowns.
Chen-Young is a senior sport management major with a 3.75 GPA. He recorded 37 tackles for the Seahawks while recording six interceptions and forcing two fumbles.
