There’s certainly no shortage of new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles toys on the market these days, but Diamond Select Toys is doing something a bit different with its TMNT Minimates line. IGN can exclusively reveal the latest Minimates set, one that should appeal to anyone with a fondness for the classic animated series.
The TMNT Minimates Technodrome Deluxe Box Set features five characters inspired by the animated series – Leonardo, Splinter, Rocksteady, Krang and a Foot Soldier. These five figurines come packaged in a retro-style slipcase box featuring Shredder and Krang’s iconic home base, with art and design by Barry Bradfield.
Like all Minimates, these LEGO-esque figures are roughly 2-3 inches tall and feature up to 14 points of articulation. Each figure includes various weapons and accessoires inspired by the cartoon.
The TMNT Minimates Technodrome Deluxe Box Set is priced at $39.99 and is slated for release in early 2024. Preorders will open on the Diamond Select Toys website on Friday, June 23.
