Diablo 4 is one of the more popular games of 2023. This game is 18 hours long and jumps up to 28 hours if you include every side quest. However, with the number of side quests, it can be easy to miss one or two in any given area.
By missing even just one, could ruin your chances at 100% completion. One simple quest that is sometimes overlooked is called A Question of Self. While it’s a minor quest that only takes a few minutes to complete, you will need it if your goal is to complete the game to its entirety.
Location Of Quest
You will find this quest by fast traveling to the waypoint in Hawezar, then to start the quest it will be at the Dismal Foothills inside the Ruined Tower. You will be looking to speak with Elder Oranii inside the tower who will give you the quest. This quest has a suggested level of 61+.
A Question Of Self Quest
Once you speak with Elder Oranii, you will be given medicinal herbs to deliver to Taissa. Upon reading Taissa’s journal (located on the work bench) you’ll learn that she is headed to the Hungering Swamp. On the map, this will be in Hawezar in The Writhing Mire located to the East of your previous location. You will enter a wooden hut to find Taissa collapsed in the middle of the floor.
Shades of Grief will appear, to which you will have to use your combat skills on before helping her. Once the Shades of Grief are defeated, you must then defeat the Chains of Anguish while more Shades of Grief appear around you. After every enemy is defeated in the hut, Taissa will rise. Speak with her and then follow her outside. When she finishes speaking of the last resort, you will have completed the quest.
Rewards
For such a short side quest, you do get some pretty great rewards.
- 33,920 XP
- 3,000 Gold
- 20 Hawezar Renown
