India is set to receive another game from Indian developers- a MOBA titled Devas Vs Asuras. It is the “first-of-its-kind” Multiplayer Online Battle Arena, and is inspired from Indian mythology. The Hyderabad based game studio Fifth Ocean Studios, has just announced the pre-registrations for the Closed Alpha Access of their latest game. What is Devas Vs Asuras?
Devas Vs Asuras is a 5v5 team-based game. It is set in the “Kscheera Sagara” or the “Milky Ocean” which is also considered to be the abode of Lord Vishnu. The point of conflict or the objective of the game is the elixir of immortality or “Amrut”, that needs to be obtained from deep in the ocean. Fifth Ocean Studios writes, “The game’s stunning visuals and captivating storyline promise an immersive and thrilling gaming experience that seeks to redefine the Indian Mythological genre.” The game has been built on Unreal Engine and is being designed to release exclusively on PC.
Gameplay
In the age-old battle of Devas and Asura, you get to represent a member of either of the two clans in your search from Amrut, and treasure. Each hero has their own unique set of abilities and playstyles. Teams will have to strategize and outwit the other to defeat them. It is ultimately a competition for who gets to churn the ocean first and win the treasures and the Amrut.
Availability
Being a PC MOBA, Fifth Ocean Studios has announced that the game is slated for release on Epic Store and Steam only. However, the game will also launch on mobile later.
While no official date of release for Devas Vs Asuras has been shared, pre-registrations for Closed Alpha Access are now on. Interested candidates who pre-register will have a chance to earn new rewards for milestones unlocked in the days leading up to the launch of the game.
