Destiny 2: Exodus Garden 2A Legend Lost Sector Guide

Quick Links

Destiny 2 is filled with multiple Lost Sectors, and completing them on Legend or Master difficulty levels gives you a much higher chance of acquiring Exotic armor pieces pretty fast. Although some Lost Sectors are nightmarish for under-levelled players, some others, like Exodus Garden 2A, are quite easy to complete even if your current build doesn’t meet the required Power Level.

Aside from getting Exotic gear, completing all Lost Sectors in the Legend difficulty level unlocks new Triumphs for players. So, this is something that you are eventually going to do if you want to become a Destiny 2 completionist. And you will probably need some build guides if you are a bit under-levelled.

All the information below is based on Season of the Deep.

Loadout

E Loadot

As the enemies are going to have Void shields, you are strongly suggested to equip at least a Void Auto Rifle or Scout Rifle in your Loadout.

  • Kinetic Slot
    • Best: Hard Light Auto Rifle (Exotic)
    • Alternatives:
      • Krait Auto Rifle
      • Transfiguration Scout Rifle
      • Wicked Implement Scout Rifle (Exotic)
  • Energy Slot
    • Best: Wavesplitter Trace Rifle (Exotic)
    • Alternatives:
      • Positive Outlook Auto Rifle
      • Coldheart Trace Rifle (Exotic)
      • Contingency Plan Scout Rifle
  • Power Slot
    • Best: Taipan-4FR Linear Fusion Rifle
    • Alternatives:
      • Deterministic Chaos Machine Gun (Exotic)
      • Two-Tailed Fox Rocket Launcher (Exotic)
      • Unwavering Duty Machine Gun

We strongly suggest you equip Heavy Ammo Finder and Special Ammo Finder mods in your Helmet builds, as you will need them for your Trace Rifle and Power-slot weapon.

Completing The Lost Sector

E3-1

Exodus Garden 2A includes a long corridor and a large circular area that serves as the boss fight arena. You start the Lost Sector from the far end of the corridor, but it’s divided into multiple sections, and you need to defeat all the enemies inside a section first to open up the path to the other one.

In the first and last sections of the corridor, you will face Barrier Servitors, while the section in the middle hosts two Overload Captains. We strongly suggest you save up your Supers for Barrier Servitors, as they tend to teleport behind covers sometimes, which makes it quite tough to get there and break their shield. So, you only need to stun Barrier Servitors once, and then you can perform a Super on them, which will wipe them quickly. However, if your Super can’t make it, you need to use your Power weapon before it can activate its health regeneration and shields.

The Overload Captains are much easier to kill as Trace Rifles can stun them pretty easily. Using either Coldheart or Wavesplitter is quite effective, as you can down each Overload Captain with two full magazines of Coldheart with a Power Level of around 1800.

E7-1

Once you clear the corridor, you can head inside the boss arena, but we suggest you stay at the gate as the walls will protect you from Dregs and Vandals on the sides. You will first need to kill two Servitors to make the boss spawn. The best weapon to kill the boss is a Linear Fusion Rifle, but Machine Guns are effective as well. We suggest you avoid Rocket Launchers and Grenade Launchers, as the boss will move around quickly, which could end up wasting Power Ammo.
