Covid Vaccine Near Me: Google doodles a Covid-19 message for users – Times of India

Google doodle today (January 17) has a Covid-19 message for users. The message on the animated Google doodle goes: Get Vaccinated. Wear a Mask. Save Lives.
All the letters of the word Google are wearing masks. Post the word Google, there are four vaccination bottles kept on a table. The last letter of the word Google ‘E’ vaccinates the letter (L) in ahead of it. And all the letters cheer the jab do a jig. A floating heart too appears on the screen.
There’s also a sharing button to allow users to share this important message via Facebook, Twitter or through mail. Clicking the Google doodle takes users to a page which says that everyone 15 and older is eligible to get the vaccine against Covid-19. Below is cowin.gov.in link. It asks users to register on the government’s Cowin platform to get thier vaccines. It is followed by Google Map that lists nearest vaccine centres as per the user’s location. It also gives information like if the Covid-19 vaccination centre is allowing walk-ins or registration is required. There are also addresses of these vaccination centres given in the information listed on the page, which also includes phone numbers for some centres.
Starting January 3 2022, the government has expanded Covid-19 vaccination drive to children aged between 15 to 18 years. From January 10th onwards precuationary/booster dose for all citizens above 60 years too has started.
