CLAT 2021 postponed till further notice due to Covid-19 – Times of India

NEW DELHI: Consortium of National Law Universities on Saturday postponed the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2021. The decision was taken in an Executive Committee meeting of the Consortium held on May 15, 2021.

After the meeting, in a release issued by the Consortium, said after reviewing the surge of Covid-19 pandemic in the country and keeping in view of health and safety of all stakeholders of CLAT, the Committee resolved that:

The CLAT-2021 scheduled to be held on June 13, 2021 stands postponed. New date of the Test will be notified in due course.

Further, the last date for submission of online application has been extended to June 15, 2021.

The Consortium of National Law Universities was established on 19th August, 2017 with the aim of improving the standard of legal education in the country and justice system through legal education with Prof. R. Venkata Rao, erstwhile Vice-Chancellor, NLSIU as President and Prof. Faizan Mustafa, Vice-Chancellor, NALSAR, as Vice-President.
