This film traces a beautiful bond between a father and his daughter, played by Irrfan Khan and Radhika Madan. Irrfan essays the role of Champak Bansal, a dedicated and amazing father who is bent on sending his daughter to London for further studies amid all the issues he faces while arranging the fees.

Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl on Netflix

The film is based on the real-life story of the former flight lieutenant Gunjan Saxena. It shows the strong bond between Gunjan and her father, Anup. The movie is about many different things like gender prejudices, workplace discrimination, women’s daily struggles, etc. but above all it is about how Anup supports his daughter Gunjan through it all. Janhvi Kapoor as Gunjan and Pankaj Tripathi as her dad do full justice to the roles.

The film highlights an unusual relationship between a 75-year-old son and his 102-year-old father, who aspires to break the record for the longest living man but feels that with his son’s constant sulk, he won’t be able to achieve that.
