Chameleon Creator’s Exceptional User Experience Recognised By Users On eLearning Industry
A design-led eLearning platform from New Zealand has been ranked 4th for user experience by users on eLearning Industry.
eLearning Industry is a publication for eLearning professionals, people who design eLearning for businesses. Each year they rank the best eLearning tools on the market. Authoring tool software is scored on its ease of use, how much it helps users work more effectively, and how likely users are to recommend it to others.
Chameleon Creator was built out of frustration with existing authoring tools’ limited abilities to create beautiful visual designs, poor user experience (UX), and lack of mobile responsiveness. The platform was so popular that in January 2021, Chameleon Creator was launched as a standalone business to market the new tool.
Chameleon Creator CEO Todd Hammington says, “We have three key design principles we strive for, to help shape our tools experience. Make it easy, make it fast, and make it beautiful. I can’t highlight enough how often they surface during our internal discussions. Our end-users span from very experienced developers through to new adopters, and we are constantly striving to build features to provide them—regardless of their background—a great experience. We still strive to remove the noise and inject colour into what has felt like a pretty monotonous world, stuck in the past.”
Chameleon Creator Head of Growth Rhys Kerr explains, “We’re a design-led organisation and we created the Chameleon platform to improve the design and aesthetics of digital learning content. Bringing UX design principles and web-tech design insights into learning design is at the heart of everything we do. Chameleon Creator is used by organisations such as Coca-Cola Amatil, New Zealand Rugby, New Zealand Post, Foodstuffs NZ, Victoria State Government, and Bupa.
