The candidates, who could not clear the board examination, will now get an opportunity to improve their performances and appear in the compartment examination and the Central Board of Secondary Education will be conducting the Class 12th compartment examination from 23 August, 2022. The compartment exam will take place at several places across the country. CBSE has not released the compartment dates for class 10th students but it is expected to be released soon on its official website – cbse.gov.in.
The students, who offered 6 or more subjects and were not able to pass any of the first five subject except language, declared pass by replacing 6th subject from the failed subject, are also allowed to appear in the compartment examination to improve their performance in the failed subject.
The candidates must note that compartment exam would be conducted on the basis of Term 2 syllabus. Though the CBSE has not released the compartment date sheet as yet but the students are advised to keep on checking the official website regularly.
The CBSE board has decided to conduct the examination for coming session from 15 February, 2023 to lessen the impact of COVID Pandemic across the globe.
CBSE 10th and 12th result 2022 was released on 22 July, 2022 on CBSE official website but this year, Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE has not released the merit list to avoid unhealthy competition among students.
This year, nearly 35 lakh students had appeared for CBSE 10th, 12th term 2 exams 2022 held from April 26 to June 15.Tanya Singh from Bulandshahar, Uttar Pradesh, and Yuvakshi vig of Noida topped the CBSE Class 12th Result 2022 and Mayank Yadav from Amity International School, Noida topped class 10th and scored full marks and Aarohi Yadav, a student of Jaipuria school, Ghaziabad has scored 99.8% marks in class 10th.
