Battle Royale titles can be rage-inducing, and none have made players more aggressive than Activision’s Call of Duty: Warzone franchise.
1v1 battles have caused many players to throw their peripherals around their room in anger, while Gulag fights have caused more broken monitors and desktops than most people think. But, for the most part, the game hasn’t really caused any physical harm to the player themselves, until quite recently, when a Twitch streamer somehow dislocated their knee.
The story revolves around Twitch Call of Duty streamer, TheDannyHammer, who dislocated his knee while playing Call of Duty back in 2021. The incident took place, when TheDannyHammer fell backwards, following a bit of rage towards his teammates for failing to push with him.
Just wanted to thank @Activision PR team for being swift on this one and @dannywoz for being such a good sport as millions saw him crumple while playing CoD
Was a fun one to see through.

The incident was largely unnoticed by the larger Call of Duty community, until December 2022, when internet personality and Full Squad Gaming reporter Jake Lucky shared the clip of TheDannyHammer’s hilarious injury, even though it happened a year ago.
I am happy to report that @dannywoz is going to have a full recovery, but buckled under the pressure this time
Catch him here to make his day lol: https://t.co/NlzfZ7HtKu pic.twitter.com/TktUgkzTma

The clip eventually caught the attention of Call of Duty developers Activision, who later sent a care package full of goodies to the Twitch streamer. TheDannyHammer later showcased the items he received in the care package, which includes a pair of headphones, beanie, desk pad and more.
