The Snapdragon Pro Series Masters will be taking place in Japan in the month of May 2023. Revenant Esports was one of the best performers in the pervious competition as it went on to clinch the title without losing a single series during the playoffs stage. The team’s final opponents were True Rippers Esports and Marcos Gaming. As True Rippers were the runners up at the competition, they will be taking the second slot at Snapdragon Pro Series Masters.
The Revenant Esports roster that won included the following players:
- Ashmit “Sergeant Clash” Singh
- Prashant “Prashant” Malik
- Moida Shashank “Instinct” Jain
- Sharuya “Hero” Shukla
Now their next big hurdle is the international LAN tournament, Snapdragon Pro Series Masters, which will take place between May 13 and May 14. During this competition, Revenant Esports and seven other teams will be fighting to get the biggest cut out of the $800,000 prize pool. Moreover, this is the second time Revenant Esports are India Champions, as they also won Brawl Stars India Championships February 2023 Finals recently.
Here’s what Ashmit “Sergeant Clash” Singh, Revenant Esports Brawl Stars players shared about the team’s success:
“We are a pretty new roster, formed just in January, and while we knew we were good, we never anticipated that we would be so successful. Our mindset coming into the Playoffs was that we have pulled this off once before, so we can definitely do it again. We were pretty confident of getting that slot to Japan, and now that we have it, we will be focusing on putting up our best show in the international tournament.”
Check out Rohit Jagasia, Founder and CEO of Revenant Esports’ thoughts on the qualification for Snapdragon Pro Series Masters:
“The Brawl Star team’s qualification to Japan is a testament to our goal of nurturing esports talent to make them international stars. This has now become our second team in the span of a month to make it to an international tournament after our Pokémon UNITE squad qualified for the Asia Champions League in Malaysia. We will continue supporting the development of esports from the grassroots level and creating stars out of promising talent.”
