The new chapter sees the battle between the Black Bulls and Damnatio Kira finally coming to an end. As expected from a minion of Lucius, Damnatio turns out to be extremely powerful. However, despite having a hard time facing the new opponent, the Black Bulls do not waver.

The upcoming chapter titled “Preparedness for Death” takes fans on a flashback, providing insights into the events leading up to the Black Bulls’ confrontation with Damnatio Kira. In the present, Nacht gathers his squad members and lays out their plan. Recognizing that Asta poses a significant threat to Lucius Zogratis’ scheme, Nacht believes that rescuing Asta and bringing him back to the Clover Kingdom is their top priority. To accomplish this, they require the assistance of Vanessa and the witches to perform the Door of Fate spell. Meanwhile, the rest of the Black Bulls are tasked with defending the enemies and even sacrifice themselves if necessary.
Damnatio’s magic is described as even more powerful than that of a Supreme Devil. The chapter shifts its focus on Henry and Gordon, and the two launch a combination spell to counter Damnatio’s scales, but the Paladin effortlessly counters their attacks. Damnatio proclaims that a scale without a sword is powerless, a sword without a scale is violence, and a scale with a sword brings order. However, undeterred by his words, the Black Bulls persistently launch attacks against Damnatio. Seeing their desperate attempts, Damnatio calls them fools, but soon realizes the crucial role played by Grey and Gauche.
He understands that Grey’s restoration powers enable the Black Bulls to remain in the fight, while Gauche’s Mirror Magic multiplies Grey’s presence, allowing simultaneous healing of all injured members. Recognizing the significance of Grey’s contribution, Damnatio targets her while Gauche tries to protect her, leading to both of them being incapacitated.
Meanwhile, Vanessa and Finral work fervently to complete the Door of Fate spell. In the Land of the Sun, Shogun Ryuya Ryudo informs Asta about the unfortunate events that took place in the Clover Kingdom. In a surprising turn of events, Secre Swallowtail arrived, wielding her Sealing Magic and using her abilities to seal the wounds of the Black Bulls, regenerating them for battle once more.
