BGMI: Krafton Announces BGIS 2023 with a Prize Pool of INR 2 Crore

Since its comeback in India, BGMI has brightened the days for players in the country. Krafton is now fully dedicated to reclaiming the game’s previous popularity by regularly releasing new content and organising esports tournaments for BGMI. The latest announcement from the company introduces the Battlegrounds Mobile India Series 2023 tournament, featuring a prize pool of INR 2 crores.

Yes, that’s right, BGIS 2023 will have a prize pool of INR 2 crores, and it will all be decided through a LAN event finale. There will be thousands of teams from across the country taking part in the competition to grab a major chunk of the prize pool. The grand finals of this event will be broadcasted in ten languages, which include English, Hindi and eight other regional languages.

BGIS 2023 will kick off on July 20 and will extend until October 14 where players will participate in two phases, online qualifiers and offline grand finals. The qualified players will take part in the grand finals between October 1214, and fans have been invited to support their favourite teams and players.

Phase 1 will begin with The Grind, here 256 teams will go all out to qualify in the top 64, it will take place from July 20 to August 20. Then the registration period will begin on July 24 and go on until August 2 and all of these registrations will be verified between August 3 to 9. After that, in-game qualifiers will begin from August 10 to 17, where all the verified teams will play 15 matches, and they will be qualified on grounds of their top 10 match scores.

 

Out of all the verified teams, 2048 will qualify for round 1, and they will then compete in groups of 16 from Round 1 to Round 6.
