In other news, Sigourney Weaver, known for her performance in the Ghost Busters and Aliens franchises, spoke about one of her interactions with James Cameron while working on Avatar: Way of the Water. She plays the role of Kiri, who is the teenage adoptive daughter of Jake and Neytiri in the movie.
According to a report by Screenrant, Weaver was facing some issues while portraying the role of Kiri. She was worried about how she was coming across, but never received any feedback from Cameron. Finally she complained to him about not receiving any feedback and he replied in a stern voice stating, “You have to stop being insecure. It’s really inappropriate for who you are, how old you are, and what you’ve done in your career”.
Once she received the feedback she was looking for, she stopped complaining and understood what Cameron wanted to say. Weaver is also working on The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart from Amazon at the moment.
