ASUS Reportedly Working on a Batman Themed ROG Phone 6

Smartphone manufactures continue to collaborate with companies and IPs, users may have never thought about. This includes companies like OnePlus, which has developed phones themed around various subjects like Marvel’s Avengers and McLaren supercars.

With companies seemingly teasing bigger and better collaborations, superheroes remain at the forefront for these manufacturers. While Marvel has mostly been the leaders in this world, it seems like DC won’t be lagging behind much longer, as ASUS is reportedly working on a phone themed around an iconic hero of the popular comic book publishers.

As spotted by 91Mobiles, ASUS is currently developing a ROG Phone 6 based around Batman. The Dark Knight has long been one of the most famous superheroes for nearly a century, and it looks like the Dark Knight will soon be part of ASUS’ gaming phone range.

The renders doesn’t showcase any drastic changes to the phone’s design, as it looks like the phone has a stealth look, which fits the Dark Knight’s modus operandi. Compared to phones like Oppo’s Reno5 Marvel Edition, the ROG Phone 6 Batman Edition looks quite similar to the standard version.

With the physical side of things remaining mostly the same, it’s very likely that the collaboration would lead to changes on the software side. Expect to see a range of Batman wallpapers and icons to be part of the ROG Phone 6 experience, and there might also be some hidden new features as well.

At the moment, there isn’t any release date or price attached to the phone. However, fans should expect to see an official announcement from ASUS regarding the phone’s release in the near future.
