Aster DM Healthcare partners with Dr. Reddy’s Labs to administer Sputnik V vaccine at its hospitals – ET HealthWorld

The healthcare player informed that it will roll out the inoculation drive with Sputnik V vaccine initially at its Aster Medcity, Kochi Hospital (in Kerala) and Aster Aadhar, Kolhapur hospital (in Maharashtra).

The healthcare player stated that it has trained over a hundred credentialed staff at 14 of its hospitals spread across the country. The vaccine administration will be carried out under the supervision of trained medical staff and in the presence of emergency care support for ensuring the delivery of appropriate care in case of an adverse event.

Dr Reddy’s Labortaries, the authorized supplier of Sputnik vaccine in India has facilitated the necessary cold storage infrastructure for vaccine storage at the selected hospitals of Aster DM Healthcare.

Beneficiary protocols have been established as per Standard Operating Procedures recommended by the Government which includes registration, waiting area allocation along with patient education & awareness displays and post-vaccination observation, stated the release.
