Assassin’s Creed Mirage is going to be the next mainline instalment to the franchise that will take players in 9th Century Baghdad as they take on the role of Basim. Ahead of the release we have received several announcements from Ubisoft elaborating on the gameplay, story, features and other elements of the game. The latest announcement reveals a brand new feature called “History of Baghdad”.
Assassin’s Creed Mirage – History of Baghdad
History of Baghdad is an in-game feature that will help provide players with some historical context as well as get closer to the roots of this region. History of Baghdad is a feature that will be integrated in the main game, unlike the Discovery mode in the past games which allowed you to tour the region and environments that game was set in, without it affecting the main game in any way. Learn how History of Baghdad ties with the main Assassin’s Creed Mirage game below.
Here’s how History of Baghdad comes into play with in-game progression. Players will have to visit 66 historical sites in the game as Basim which will unlock research-driven articles for them. These articles will be based on 5 topics, Economy; Belief & Daily Life; Government; Art & Science; and Court Life, and the information gained from them will be stored in your in-game Codex. Once all have been completed, players will be able to acquire an in-game reward for Basim. Will you be trying out the “History of Baghdad feature once Assassin’s Creed Mirage releases on October 12, 2023?
