Following the success of Elden Ring last year, gamers have now shifted their attention towards FromSoftware’s next title, Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon.
After announcing the latest instalment of the popular mecha series at The Game Awards last year, the famed developers have remained quite mum on their upcoming title. The most we have got is from FromSoftware president Hidetaka Miyazaki, who shared some titbits about the game’s focus on single player and the wide variety of customisation for the mechas.
While a 2023 release year has been revealed, nothing has been detailed about an exact date. However, new reports suggest that the launch date of Armored Core VI could be sooner than you think.
According to sources of Insider Gaming, Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon might arrive on August 25, 2023. Another source has also said to the publication that FromSoftware might soon have an announcement about the title.
Without the lack of a release date, the franchise’s community were under the impression that the first Armored Core title in over 10 years might be delayed to 2024. However, earlier this month, fans were put to ease, when the game ended up being rated in South Korea.
While video game ratings don’t indicate any imminent release dates, fans are hopeful about FromSoftware delivering Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon in the near future.
Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon will release on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
