Apple has announced that it will release iOS 15.4 to iPhone users next week. The new update will come with improvements to iCloud keychain, a new voice for American Siri and new emojis. One of the key features that iOS 15.4 will bring is the ability to unlock iPhone with FaceID while wearing a mask. This means that iPhone users will no longer have to enter passcodes or rely on Apple Watch to unlock iPhone when wearing a mask.
Along with iOS 15.4, Apple has announced to bring iPadOS 15.4, watchOS 8.5, tvOS 15.4, and macOS Monterey 12.3 to all users next week. Both iPadOS 15.4 and macOS Monterey 12.3 include the Universal Control feature. It will enable users to wirelessly control an iPad or even another Mac using the keyboard and mouse of their main computer.
The upcoming macOS 12.3 will add support for the PS5 DualSense adaptive trigger. It will also bring a ScreenCaptureKit framework for “high-performance screen recording.”
Meanwhile, Apple has launched the third-generation iPhone SE at its Peek performance event. The new iPhone SE comes as the successor to the 2020 model of iPhone SE. It comes powered by an A15 Bionic chipset and will be available in 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB models. The handset comes with a starting price of Rs 43,900 and is equipped with a 4.7-inch Retina HD display. Along with the new iPhone SE, Apple introduced new colour variants for iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro. It also launched a new iPad Air model, Apple Mac Studio and Studio display at the event.
