These are incremental updates and mostly address bug fixes and issues of iPadOS 15 and watchOS 8, released last month.
Here’s a complete changelog of iPadOS 15.0.2 and watchOS 8.0.2 updates.
Changes in iPadOS15.0.2
Both iOS 15.0.2 and iPadOS 15.0.2 have received largely similar changes. For instance, the issue where photos that were saved in the library from Messages were getting deleted automatically. The iPadOS 15.0.2 update addresses that issue and now photos saved to the library from Messages can now be deleted after removing the associated thread or message.
iPadOS 15.0.2 update also addresses the issue where iPadOS 15 users were complaining about not seeing AirTag in the Find My tab.
The next fix is related to the 6th-generation iPad mini where Device restore or update may fail when using Finder or iTunes. This issue has been resolved in the latest iPadOS 15.0.2 update.
Changes in watchOS8.0.1 update
This is the first update Apple Watch is getting after the release of watchOS 8. Like iOS and iPad OS updates, watchOS 8.0.1 is also an incremental update and focuses mostly on fixing bugs and other issues reported by users.
Software update progress may not be displayed accurately for some Apple Watch Series 3 users
Accessibility settings may not have been available for some Apple Watch Series 3 users
