Anupam Kher says ‘kya bakwas karaha hai’ as Anil Kapoor gifts him expensive glasses but says it doesn’t suit him. Watch

Anupam Kher has shared a video to reveal that his friend Anil Kapoor has gifted him a ‘very expensive’ pair of glasses. He also mentioned how Anil stressed on the fact the fact that the glasses were quite expensive. 

“My dear friend Mr @AnilKapoor ji has brought me designer glasses from London. He mentioned how expensive the glasses are two or three times. But I didn’t mind. Because his generosity is an example of a good friendship. May God give such a friend to everyone! Thanks Anil ji.”

The video begins with Anil (not seen in the video) handing over a box with the glasses in it to Anupam. The latter says that he is getting nervous by just seeing the box. Anil mentions, “Mehenga hai bahut, itni mehengi gift maine aaj tak kisi ko nahi di (it’s very expensive, I have never given such an expensive gift to anyone).” Anupam reacts, “Dosti bhi to kai saalo se hai sir, aisa mat kahiye (we have been friends for years, don’t say like that).” He also adds, “Main poojhunga nahi kitna mehenga hai (I will not ask how costly it is).”

Anupam then takes out the black, thick-framed glasses and reveals that he has seen Anil wear similar ones but didn’t expect him to bring the same for him. He wears it and shows his front and side profiles to Anil. 

Anil compliments him about how good he’s looking, but jokes, “Itna mehenga chashma suit nahi kar raha aap pe (Such expensive glasses don’t suit you).” Anupam reacts, “Kya bakwas kar rahe ho (what rubbish are you talking).”

Anupam then compares the new glasses with his “gareeb chashma (poor glasses).” He thanked Anil for buying such expensive glasses for him and gave him his blessings.
