At its Google I/O 2021 keynote event, Google is expected to launch the Android 12 operating system version.
Now that we are officially in the week of Google I/O, all eyes are on the internet search giant to see what it has in store for Android users who have been waiting for big updates.
Jon Prosser, the leakster has posted a new video detailing all the key features that we may see as part of Android 12.
According to his sources, the Android 12 update “seems like a massive upgrade: with revamped UI, better privacy functions and seamless use across devices.”
When it comes to UI changes, he claims that users may get new music, weather, analog clock widget, new brightness and volume slider as well as new Wi-Fi and Bluetooth toggles.
Prosser has also added what he claims is an official video promo of Android 12 that shows smaller UI tweaks such as improvements in terms of how notifications appear on the top notification bar. Tapping on this is said to expand these notifications.
On the Lock Screen, Google is said to make the size of the text that shows the time bigger and remove it from the top left corner. The video also gives a hint that Google may roll out a new keyboard as well.
We will have to wait till tomorrow to see what all of this happens to be true. On the first day, the company’s CEO Sundar Pichai is expected to deliver his keynote speech and Google will live stream the event.
