AMD RDNA 3-Powered GPUs Set To Launch on November 3; CES 2023 Keynote Event Also Announced

AMD has announced that it will unveil its next generation of graphic cards with the RDNA 3 architecture on November 3.

The announcement date lines up around a month after the release of the RTX 4090 GPU from NVIDIA, which was revealed alongside the RTX 4080 graphic card and DLSS 3 at yesterday’s event.

Even though NVIDIA grabbed all the headlines in the gaming world yesterday, it seems like its biggest rival wants users to hold out on purchasing the RTX 40 series of graphic cards before it showcases its newest lineup.

The presumed Radeon 7000 series of graphic cards will usher in a new era between AMD and NVIDIA in the battle of the GPUs, with the latter mostly coming out victorious over the last few years.

AMD is looking to change its fortunes with its upcoming range of GPUs, which will shift towards the revolutionary GPU chiplet architecture. The architecture is rumored to change the GPU world for the better, and it will be interesting to see if AMD can create a new wave with its graphic card lineup just like it did with CPU processors.

Other than the improved performances, AMD has also talked about its plans to deliver power in an efficient manner. In a recent blog post, the company has detailed an increase in performance per watt by over 50% for the RDNA 3 architecture in comparison to its predecessors.

Other than AMD’s upcoming event for its RDNA 3 GPUs, the company has also announced its return to CES 2023, with CEO Dr. Lisa Su delivering an in-person keynote from Las Vegas on Wednesday, January 4, 2023, at 6:30 PM.
