Grim Guardians: Demon Purge

Inti Creates has announced the release date for two-player 2D side-scroller Grim Guardians: Demon Purge. The title will be available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series and Nintendo Switch on February 23rd.

Grim Guardians is a 2D action game centered on two demon hunters who return to their school after a mission and discover a demonic castle where it once stood. Take over the castle and unravel the mystery of what happened to their school!

Founded in 1996 by former Capcom employees, Inti Creates has since released over five dozen games, including series such as Mega Man Zero, Gal Gun, and Gunvolt.

Anthology of Fear

OhDeer studio and 100 GAMES have revealed the release date for Anthology of Fear. The game, in which we are once again offered to wander through dark corridors, will become available on March 17th.

Take part in the investigation and solve the mystery of your brother’s disappearance. Find out the truth as you explore disturbing and eerie places. Open the story chapter by chapter, each of which reveals your common tragedy.

Judging by the description on Steam, we are waiting for a typical representative of the genre. Unless one of the GIFs hints that the hero will have a weapon.

Newzoo

Analyst firm Newzoo predicts that the global video game market will reach $184 billion in 2022, down 4% from the previous year.

    PC browser games are also projected to decline, with $2 billion in revenue this year, down 16% from last year. As for the section of full-fledged PC games, its share will increase by 1.8% to $38.2 billion.

The same is true for the console gaming market, as its share will decline by 4.2% to $51.1 billion. The mobile gaming market will suffer the same fate: its decline will be 6.4% to $92.2 billion. Newzoo predicts that the global video game market will reach $211 billion in 2025.

Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin

Square Enix and Team Ninja have revealed a teaser trailer for the final paid add-on for Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin, Different Future, and announced that it will release on January 27, 2023.

In the final DLC, Jack and the company will travel to another time and space to face their final test. The add-on can be obtained by purchasing a season pass.

Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.

Potion Craft

TinyBuild and niceplay games have announced that Potion Craft will be coming to PlayStation and Nintendo Switch in Spring 2023. In mid-December, the game left early access and appeared on the Xbox.

The creators of the game will name the exact date after the holidays, but for now, you can watch the trailer with laudatory press reviews. In the new year, information about further updates to Potion Craft will also appear.

Potion Craft is an alchemy simulator where you physically interact with ingredients and tools while brewing potions. For a year in Steam Early Access, the game has collected almost 12,000 reviews, 92% of which are positive.
