Aiwa unveils smart TV series ‘Magnifiq’ in India – Times of India

Aiwa, the Japanese consumer electronics brand, has launched its new TV series, Magnifiq. The new TVs are powered by Android 11, support voice command via Google Assistant and run on AI Core 4 processor. The range extends from the 32 inch series to 43 inch (FHD & UHD), 50 (4K UHD), 55 inch (4K UHD) & 65 inch (4K UHD), and is priced starting at Rs 29,990 to Rs 139,990.
The 55 inch and 65 inch models come with a built-in soundbar. The soundbar is said to have been designed with Aiwa Authentic Signature Sound technology. The TVs come with the company’s proprietary CRYSTA Tech Vision and claim to introduce Vertical Array Display, 1.07 billion colours and 350 nits of brightness.
Aiwa TVs come with protective film with Black Reflect technology that is claimed to protect users from potentially harmful radiation. The anti-glare tech also reduces reflections on the screen and helps to ease eye fatigue.
AIWA claims to have partnered with Dixon Technologies as its manufacturing partner and looks forward to contributing to the government’s Make In India initiative.
Speaking on the launch, Kure Shouichi, MD of AIWA Electronics International and global business director of AIWA (Tokyo Japan), said, “We are excited on the establishing of Aiwa India, as our regional headquarter, via which hope to assure Aiwa’s permanency to the Indian consumers. At the launch of our word-class televisions, we are sure the consumer will feel confident to see Aiwa’s legacy of excellence over the past 70 years coupled with the latest and most powerful Android 11 technology.”
