Telecom company Bharti Airtel has launched a new prepaid plan for its customers in India.
The plan that is priced at Rs 456, has been listed on Airtel’s official website, its Airtel Thanks app as well on third-party platforms — such as Google Pay and Paytm — that let you recharge.

As is the case with most prepaid plans these days, this plan comes with free unlimited voice calls. It has a limit of 100 free SMS per day. In terms of data, this prepaid plan from Airtel offers a total of 50GB of data for a period of 60 days. Once a customer exhausts the data limit, he/she will be charged 50 paise per megabyte. Once the daily SMS is exhausted, SMS become chargeable at Rs 1.5 for every national SMS message.
Apart from these benefits, Airtel is offering Rs 100 cashback on FASTag for customers recharging with this plan.
Rival plan from Reliance Jio
In terms of competition, Jio has a similarly priced plan at Rs 447. This plan too offers unlimited voice calls, 50GB of high-speed data and 100 SMS per day for a validity of 60 days. It further has complimentary access to Jio apps.
Rival plan from Vodafone-Idea
Vi also has a similarly priced plan for its prepaid users in India. This plan is priced at Rs 449 and has benefits like unlimited calling, 4GB per day data, 100 SMS per day — all valid for a period of 56 days. This plan allows users to use the internet from 12 am midnight to 6 am without pack deduction.
