Lalit Modi, the founder of IPL, broke the Internet late on Thursday when he shared pictures of his “better half”, former Miss Universe, Sushmita Sen.
He made headlines after he posted a series of pictures on Twitter from their vacation together, sparking rumours of marriage between the two with him mentioning “new beginnings”.

The Internet was in a state of disbelief with Modi’s revelation but he later clarified that the two were “just dating” each other and that marriage “would happen one day”.

Twitterati did what it does best and launched the two on a bandwagon of memes.
Some even dug up old tweets of Modi asking Sen to ‘reply’ to his SMS.

People were quick to appreciate Modi’s determination of nine long years as they joked how his efforts finally paid off as he went from ‘seen-zone to ‘Sen-zone’.
Just as everyone else reacted to the news of them dating, actor Ranveer Singh took to the comment section and sent a heart and an evil eye emoji.
