Actor Naren Kumar, who made his debut with the recently released web film Switchh, talks about it and his future plans

Tell us something about your background and growing up in Dubai…

Growing up in Dubai is very similar to anywhere in the world. It’s a place I call my home. If India is my heart, then Dubai beats in it.

What is the film Switchh about?

It’s an all-out masala movie with lots of thrill, car races and suspense. If I say anything more, I will be giving out the story. It also has amazing songs.

Did you take any formal training in acting?

Yes, I have learnt acting while pursuing a management course in Glasgow.

How was your experience of working with Vikrant Massey?

I have really learnt a lot from him. The entire team was really cooperative and friendly. He is an amazing actor and a fantastic person.

What is your dream role?

I love acting; hence I would love to play any good role that comes my way. Playing different characters is something I am very passionate about.

What is your resolution for 2022?

Do more and more work, as I am a workaholic.

Who is your inspiration in Bollywood?

Shah Rukh Khan! I would love to work with Shah Rukh sir, as he has been my inspiration ever since I thought of acting.

What are your upcoming projects?

I have signed two movies and a web series that is titled Matka King.
