Microsoft Flight Simulator’s latest update, World Update XIII: Oceania and Antarctica, is now available. This free update has added 13 new countries and 28 non-sovereign territories to the flight simulator.
There are now 150 new points of interest, such as Moai monoliths on Easter Island, the Jakarta Cathedral in Java, the Point Venus Lighthouse in Tahiti, National Parliament House in Papua New Guinea, and many more.
Based on the latest satellite imagery, this new update features Antarctica and the Antarctic Peninsula. Antarctica research bases such as McMurdo Station, Scott Base, and the Davis Station have been added.
The new update sees Hawaii receive several new points of interest, and locations including Oahu island.
Various airstrips from Papua New Guinea have also been added. Five new airports will also be available in the game now, such as the Easter Island’s Mataveri International Airport, Hawaii’s Kona International Airport, and the Bora Bora Airport.
Nusatupe Airport in the Solomon Islands and the Moorea Airport in French Polynesia are also a part of the game now.
It’s one of the major expansions of the surreal flight simulator, and it’s a free update, accessible on all platforms including Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Xbox Cloud Gaming. Microsoft Flight Simulator is also available on the Xbox Game Pass.
