The Esports Club or TEC was founded back in 2019 by industry veterans, Vamsi Krishna, Ishaan Arya & Mansoor Ahmed Noor. The trio created the international Esports organization, as a way to own, operate and partner with some of the premier IPs from the industry.
As part of its visions of global expansion, The Esports Club has just raised funding worth $3 million in pre-series A round. This funding will enable them to expand their operations to Middle East and Southeast Asia and “build a state-of-the-art esports platform”. The funding was led by KOMLAY Group and SAMBAVANATH Group.
Since its advent, TEC has been responsible for providing “specialised gaming marketing services”. It has also launched some extremely successful IPs such as The Arena in partnership with Comic Con, a consumer gaming show. The Esports Company has also brought in long-running Esports tournaments such as TEC Challenger Series and TEC gauntlet. At the moment, the TEC Community Cup is ongoing.

Through the new investment, TEC will now be able to support its growth in the Esports and gaming industry. This will also include growth towards operations, events and content creation.
The company has also stated that new initiatives will be launched in different regions, as well as hiring of local broadcasting talents, which in turn will help bolster its online presence. Finally, TEC will also be “investing in state-of-the-art broadcast facilities and technology to support its tournaments that cater to new markets”.
Here’s what Vamsi Krishna, Founder of The Esports Club had to say about the organization securing the new investment:
“We are thrilled to have secured this funding and to be expanding our operations to new regions. Esports is a rapidly growing industry, and we are excited to be at the forefront of it. We are committed to building a strong and sustainable Esports ecosystem, and this funding will allow us to do just that. We are excited to bring our competitive tournaments, events, and content to new audiences, and to help cultivate the next generation of Esports talent”.
CA Nikhil Shah, Managing Director of Beeline Capital Advisors Private Limited and Ramesh Babu, Co-Founder, QuantAscend Consulting Global also provided statements for the same:
CA Nikhil Shah: Globally, esports is one of the fastest growing businesses in the entertainment industry and we are excited to be part of this growth with The Esports Club and the industry as a whole.
Ramesh Babu: At QuantAscend Consulting Global, we have worked with the company from its formative years, and we are delighted to find right set of investors who believe in the business model and subscribe to the vision of The Esports Club.
