Sony has announced that it will be making its presence felt at CES 2023. The Japanese tech giants have confirmed that it will hold a global press conference on January 4 at 6:30 AM IST (5 PM PT/ 8 PM EST).
Not much has been revealed about the contents of the press conference. However, Sony has revealed that it will feature its mobility division. So, expect to see some new revelations in the form of Sony Honda Mobility EVs.
It also remains to be seen if Sony has any plans to showcase the gaming side of the company, such as the rumored PlayStation 5 Pro or the PSVR 2.

In other news, Sony has unveiled a new product in Japan called Mocopi, which features six motion-tracking bands. According to Engadget, the new product costs 49,500 yen or $358 (≈Rs. 29,000).

The color-coded bands feature motion sensors that are worn on your head, hip, ankles, and wrists. With its motion-tracking technology, users can convert real-time motion input to control avatars in virtual reality. Mocopi users can move around as their avatars in the metaverse and other virtual reality environments.
The Mocopi will be available to pre-order in mid-December, with the bands releasing in late January.
