7 Best Cyber Monday Sonos Deals on Soundbars and Speakers

Sonos makes some of our favorite speakers because you can seamlessly connect several throughout your home, all without having to wrangle with pesky cables. It started its Cyber Monday sales early, but they’re going strong. You’ll find discounts on some of our favorite speakers, soundbars, and subwoofers. The sale runs through November 28. It’s a great opportunity to build a surround sound setup.

Updated Monday, November 28: We’ve added the Sonos Move and updated prices and links throughout.

Sonos Move

If you want to bring your tunes wherever you go and you want to make sure they sound as great as possible, then the Sonos Move will be your best buddy (8/10, WIRED Recommends). It’s powered by Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, has an 11-hour battery life, and has microphones that help adapt its sound to the environment you’re in (it also supports Google Assistant or Alexa). It truly sounds outstanding with boomy bass. It’s splash resistant, too. Its Bluetooth features are limited, but you can tote it around with the built-in handle.

Taking your tunes on the go? The Sonos Roam SL is a variation of one our favorite portable Bluetooth speakers. It has all the features and great sound quality we love in the regular Roam (9/10, WIRED Recommends) without the voice control. Unfortunately, the wireless charging pad ($49) isn’t included with the speaker, but with the money you save, the charging pad technically only costs $17.

Sonos One

When it comes to a good, old-fashioned, voice-controlled speaker, the Sonos One is our favorite. It can connect to your virtual assistants like Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa, adding an extra layer of utility, and it still delivers some of the best sound quality you can get from a speaker this size.

If you don’t want the voice control option from the aforementioned Sonos One, you might prefer the SL Edition. You’ll get all of the pros of the standard One speaker (including the great audio performance) with fewer privacy concerns.

Sonos Beam

The Beam (Gen 2) is the most approachable of all the Sonos soundbars. It puts out good sound, comes with some nice features, and it’s just the right size. It’s not the most powerful soundbar from the brand, but it’s the best balance of sound and size for most living rooms. The Beam supports Dolby Atmos and voice assistants (Google Assistant, Alexa, and Siri); it is more responsive than its predecessor; and looks incredibly sleek on your shelf or mounted to the wall.

While the Beam is the best Sonos soundbar for most homes, the Arc (9/10, WIRED Recommends) is our upgrade pick. The incredibly powerful Arc delivers deep bass and crisp, loud sound, making it our top choice for home theater setups. In certain rooms, the sound can bounce off walls well enough to mimic a respectable surround sound system. This soundbar is the most expensive in the Sonos line, so this deal presents a great opportunity to upgrade and save some cash in the process.

A soundbar can do a lot to improve your TV experience, but a subwoofer is a lovely addition to round out the boomier frequencies. The Sub is pricey, but it’s worth it for the richer bass it adds to any Sonos system. You get a more balanced sound overall. If this is too expensive, check out the newer Sonos Sub Mini ($429).
