Overwatch 2 has been suffering from major launch day issues, and is working promptly to counter as many as they can. In an earlier report we learned that Blizzard got rid of their newly introduced SMS protect feature for existing Battle.net account holders so that more players could get into the game, we also learned that the Overwatch 2 is still suffering from server stability issues and was fighting against several DDoS attacks.
Now, new issues have turned up and these are related to two heroes that players can pick in Overwatch 2. The two heroes in question are Bastion and Torbjorn, Bastion has been removed from all game modes and Torbjorn has also been removed from all but quick play. Both of these heroes have been removed temporarily so that their issues can be worked on. In the case of Bastion, his ultimate is too OP, in the video you will see below, he is able to shoot until the timer goes out, allowing him to carpet bomb everyone.
???? QUICK PSA ????
Bastion and Torbjörn will be taking a quick trip to the workshop while we iron out a few bugs in their ability kits!

In the case for Torbjorn, the issue is not as pressing as Bastion’s, a glitch allows the players to use his Overload special for twice the amount of time, if the player is able to press the correct button at the right time. Players do not need to worry as both of their beloved heroes will back in the game in no time, as soon as these issues have been worked on. There is also another issue Blizzard is aware of that prevents players from accessing all their owned heroes. This is caused by an issue with our servers that tracks player progression. They are working to get this issue resolved as quickly as possible according to the forum.
On the topic of issues, this not the end for Overwatch 2, they are still facing many stability and server issues at the moment. Due to these issues, Overwatch 2 was taken offline for an hour, so that the developers could do some patch work. The emergency maintenance of the title was completed in the given time and the Overwatch 2 Servers are back online. Many players have been wondering when these issues that have been plaguing the game since launch day will be resolved permanently.
Emergency Maintenance has completed & #Overwatch2 servers are live. Thank you for your patience, everyone.
