NEW DELHI: Xiaomi Band 7 is now official. Xiaomi has finally launched the much-teased Xiaomi Band 7 in China. Successor to the last year’s launched Mi Band 6, the fitness tracker comes with a larger display and additional sports modes. Xiaomi has introduced two variants of the fitness band — Band 7 and Band 7 NFC.
Xiaomi Band 7 also comes with colourful TPU antibacterial wristbands and a water-resistant design. Xiaomi has also incorporated Goodix’s health sensor to power Band 7. The sensor allows users to measure the health data with high precision and consumes less power.
Xiaomi Band 7 comes with a starting price tag of 249 yuan (Rs 2,905). The wearable is up for pre-order in China and will go on sale starting May 31.
Xiaomi Band 7 specifications
Xiaomi Band 7 features a 1.62-inch HD display with 192×490 pixel resolution. The AMOLED touch display offers 500 nits of brightness. The fitness tracker supports Bluetooth v5.2 and is compatible with Android and iOS operating systems.
The water-resistant Xiaomi Band 7 comes equipped with an optical heart rate sensor, SpO2 monitor and six-axis motion sensor. The wearable offers 120 workout modes including professional workout modes such as indoor and outdoor running, cycling, rope skipping and more.
Xiaomi Band 7 is also capable of tracking sleep and female health. The device offers more than 100 watch faces and is backed by a 180mAh battery which promises to churn out 15 days of battery backup on a single charge.
