Everything Everywhere All at Once star Ke Huy Quan has said he would “absolutely” want to do another Indiana Jones movie.
Quan played Short Round in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom when he was a kid and would continue acting in such films as The Goonies as Data before retiring from acting to become a fight choreographer and assistant director. With Everything Everywhere All at Once, he is once again back in front of the camera.
As reported by The A.V. Club, Quan participated in a Reddit AMA to help promote Everything Everywhere All at Once and was asked if he would “appear in another Indiana Jones film if asked.”
“YES! Absolutely to more Indiana Jones movies. Haha,” Quan wrote.
Nearly 14 years after Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull premiered in theaters, Indiana Jones 5 completed filming in February 2022. We don’t know much about the film yet, or if Quan will be returning, but it does have a theatrical release date of June 30, 2023.
In our review of Everything Everywhere All at Once, we said that it “changes the game for what cinematic multiverses can be, with thrilling action, excellent performances, and a world of possibilities.”
