Athiya Shetty picks up boyfriend KL Rahul from airport, fans say ‘get married soon guys’. Watch

Actor Athiya Shetty was spotted waiting for boyfriend – cricketer KL Rahul at the Mumbai airport on Tuesday. Athiya was seen sitting in a car as KL Rahul made an exit at the airport. The two have been together since a few years and spend a lot of time in the company of each other. They often drop comments on each other social media posts as well. A paparazzo account on Instagram shared a video of KL Rahul’s arrival. KL Rahul is seen walking out of the airport in a white tee and red shorts paired with a white cap. Athiya sat outside the airport in a parked car. In another video, his staff was seen putting his luggage in that car after which he joined her and they left together. 

A fan commented to the video, “Get married soon guys.” Many also addressed them as ‘Rahiya’ as they are popularly called on social media. A fan wrote, “My rahiya,” along with several heart-eyes emojis. One more wrote, “Awwie,” in the comments section. “Best couple in the world,” read a comment.

KL Rahul had also wished Athiya on Valentine’s Day this year. He shared a throwback picture of them together and simply wrote, “Happy (red heart emoji) day.” Athiya dropped a red heart emoji in reaction to the post. Many of Athiya’s friends also teased her in the comments section. Akansha Ranjan Kapoor had commented, “Oh my my my what am I seeing??”

Last year in December, Athiya and KL Rahul made their first-ever red carpet appearance as a couple at the screening of Ahan Shetty’s debut film, Tadap. An inside picture from the movie premiere showed her snuggling up to him while he had a wide smile on his face.

Athiya has also been spotted wearing KL Rahul’s clothes occasionally. She even accompanied him on his England tour with the Indian cricket team. A source told Hindustan Times, “The couple left India together for England for the World Test Championship last month. Before leaving, the logistics department had asked all players for names of people travelling with each of them. The players were supposed to give the names of whether they would be travelling with wives or partners, for which KL Rahul listed Athiya Shetty as his partner. She travelled in the same bubble and stayed in Southampton with the team.”
