Actor Sunny Deol shared a BTS clip from the sets of his 1999 film Dillagi. The video also features Sunny’s brother Bobby Deol . Sunny, who directed and acted in the film, co-starred with Bobby for the first time in Dillagi. The film also starred actors Urmila Matondkar and Reema Lagoo. Sharing the clip, Sunny wrote, “Received this today. Beautiful memories Bob. #Dillagi #throwback #reels #reelsindia.” The video starts with a scene in which the brothers are seen saying their lines, later Bobby forgets them and starts smiling. The video also includes, various BTS shots from Dillagi, also featuring Urmila. 

One fan commented, “Kya pyaar hai dono bhaiyon ka (These brothers love each other so much).” While one said, “One of my favourite movie,” another one wrote, “Mai to sirf shooting dekhane aai thi mujhe bhi balloon pakada ke bola dance karo khadi mat raho (I just went there to see the shooting of the film. I was told to dance with a balloon).” One fan said, “We want a sequel.” Pointing at Bobby’s look one fan commented, “Bobby’s iconic hairstyle.”

Apart from Dillagi, Bobby and Sunny were seen together in the 2007 film Apne, in which their father Dharmendra also starred. In 2021, the sequel of the film titled Apne 2 was announced. Apart from Dharmendra, Bobby and Sunny, Apne 2 will also star Sunny’s son Karan Deol.

In a recent interview with Siddharth Kannan, Bobby was asked that since his family is very “soft and gentle,” does he finds himself being taken advantage of at times. Bobby replied, “We are very simple people. We aren’t manipulative or street smart. Log humara fayda utha lete hain (People often take our advantage). There were many people whom we helped, they took our advantage and spoiled our names and moved on. This keeps on happening. But we are good people and God is watching us all. We were told since we were kids to be a nice human being, be down-to-earth and you will achieve whatever you want in life.”

Sunny is currently shooting for Gadar 2, which will also star actors Ameesha Patel, Utkarsh Sharma. Bobby is currently basking in the success of his last film Love Hostel.
