Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the lost 0.17%.
The best performers of the session on the were Gulf General Cooperative Insurance (SE:), which rose 5.61% or 0.68 points to trade at 12.80 at the close. Meanwhile, Tihama Advertising&Public Relations (SE:) added 5.37% or 1.95 points to end at 38.25 and Bawan (SE:) was up 3.23% or 1.15 points to 36.75 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi Cable Company (SE:), which fell 2.84% or 0.56 points to trade at 19.16 at the close. Electrical Industries Co (SE:) declined 2.17% or 0.65 points to end at 29.25 and Al Rajhi REIT (SE:) was down 2.03% or 0.24 points to 11.56.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 105 to 99 and 21 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for March delivery was up 0.09% or 0.08 to $89.44 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 0.19% or 0.17 to hit $90.95 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.03% or 0.50 to trade at $1827.40 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.18% to 4.2899, while USD/SAR fell 0.01% to 3.7518.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.20% at 95.450.
