Leaked Image Shows Tom Crusie As Iron Man on the Set of ‘Dr Strange in the Multiverse of Madness’

It seems like the Marvel Cinematic Universe is ready to explore the multiverse in the craziest way possible with the upcoming Doctor Strange sequel.

Following the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home, which featured (HUMONGOUS SPOILER ALERT) other live-action iterations of Peter Parker, played by Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire, it seems like the MCU’s next movie in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness might take it a step further with an insane cameo.

Recently, some set photos of the Doctor Strange sequel surfaced online, featuring none other than legendary Hollywood actor Tom Cruise. In these photos, Cruise is seen wearing a motion capture suit, and according to many rumors online, it seems like he will play a variant of Tony Stark aka Iron Man.

As of right now, fans might want to take these leaks with a grain of salt. However, the last time a set photo of a massive cameo in the MCU surfaced online, it was none other than Andrew Garfield shooting for Spider-Man: No Way Home.

Before the release of No Way Home, Andrew Garfield refuted the theories about his appearance in the movie, while doing press for his Netflix movie, Tick, Tick… Boom!

However, since the movie came out, Garfield has been quite vocal about his decision to lie, while also revealing interesting tidbits about shooting with the other Spideys in Tom Holland and Tobey Maguire.

Over the past few months, a ton of potential leaks have swirled around the internet, regarding the plot of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. These leaks have suggested many potential plotlines involving the Darkhold, America Chavez and many more.

However, the big rumors that have been quite popular on platforms like Reddit talked about the various cameos made by actors who have played live-action Marvel characters outside the MCU. These leaks have stated the potential return of many X-Men characters like Sir Patrick Stewart’s Charles Xavier to Ioan Gruffudd’s Reed Richards.

However, Tom Cruise as Iron Man might be the biggest leak to have shown up so far with set photos as proof. With Cruise’s blockbuster movie Top Gun: Maverick set to arrive just a few days after the release of the Doctor Strange sequel, it looks like the popular Hollywood actor is about to receive the Andrew Garfield treatment, as he will be bombarded with questions about these set photos.

Before Robert Downey Jr. took up the mantle of Iron Man and kick-started the MCU back in 2008, Tom Cruise was reportedly approached to play the iconic role. At the time, the actor refused to don the suit of armor, however if the rumors are indeed true then, it seems like life has come full circle for both Marvel and Cruise, and fans can’t wait to see Hollywood’s biggest action star in the most popular movie franchise of all time.
