- Mahindra’s Electric XUV300 Likely To Be Christened XUV400, May Be In The Year 2022

महिंद्रा कई नए इलेक्ट्रिक व्हीकल लॉन्च करने की तैयारी कर रही है। अगर सब कुछ कंपनी के प्लान के अनुसार चलता रहा तो महिंद्रा साल 2027 तक मार्केट में 13 नए मॉडल उतार देगी, जिनमें से 8 इलेक्ट्रिक होने वाले हैं। इनमें KUV100 और XUV700 के इलेक्ट्रिक वर्जन भी शामिल होंगे। इसके बाद कंपनी नया इलेक्ट्रिक मॉडल लॉन्च करेगी जिसका नाम XUV400 हो सकता है। ये कार असल में XUV300 का इलेक्ट्रिक अवतार होगा। हालांकि कंपनी ने अबतक XUV400 नाम पर अंतिम मुहर नहीं लगाई है।
मॉड्युलर आर्किटैक्चर प्लेटफॉर्म
इलेक्ट्रिक XUV300 को eXUV300 के नाम से ऑटो एक्सपो 2020 में पेश किया गया था। इस EV को मॉड्युलर आर्किटैक्चर प्लेटफॉर्म पर बनाया जा रहा है। इस इलेक्ट्रिक SUV के साथ 350 वोल्ट की पावरट्रेन दी जाएगी और इसके कुछ समय बाद 380 वोल्ट वाला ज्यादा दमदार मॉडल भी पेश किया जाएगा। इलेक्ट्रिक XUV400 के बेस मॉडल की कीमत नैक्सॉन EV के बराबर होगी, वहीं टॉप मॉडल की कीमत MG ZS EV के समान हो सकती है।
आधुनिक लिथियम-आयन बैटरी तकनीक मिलेगी
महिंद्रा की पहली इलेक्ट्रिक कार होगी जिसके साथ LG द्वारा बनाई बैटरी सेल्स लगाई जाएंगी। महिंद्रा ने आधुनिक लिथियम-आयन बैटरी टेक्नोलॉजी के लिए कोरियाई बैटरी निर्माता LG के साथ साझेदारी की है। महिंद्रा XUV400 की स्टाइल और डिजाइन में भी बदलाव हो सकता है। कार 2023 तक भारत में लॉन्च हो सकती है, हालांकि महामारी और चिप शॉर्टेज के चलते इस कार में कंपनी को देरी भी हो सकती है।
