Smartphone maker Xiaomi launched its first foldable smartphone — Mi Mix Fold in March this year. Now a leakster claims that the company is working on its second foldable smartphone.
According to Digital Chat Station, the upcoming foldable smartphone from Xiaomi comes with an inward folding design same as the Mi Mix Fold. The smartphone is expected to launch in Q4 and is said to sport a 108MP main camera.
The report also adds that the foldable smartphone is expected to be powered by high-end Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor. The smartphone is said to house a 5,000 mAh battery. The report also suggests that the company is also thinking of increasing the display refresh rate of the smartphone.
The internal display of the foldable smartphone is said to come with 120Hz refresh rate, while the external display is expected to offer 90Hz refresh rate.
Another online report revealed that Samsung will supply folding displays to Xiaomi for its upcoming foldable smartphone. This means that there are chances that we might see a clamshell design foldable smartphone from Xiaomi.
Meanwhile, Xiaomi has confirmed the launch of its new Mi 11 series smartphone in India. The company has confirmed that it will launch the Mi 11 Lite smartphone in the country on June 22.
This will be the fourth smartphone in the Mi 11 series as the company already offers Mi 11 Ultra, Mi 11X and Mi 11X Pro smartphones under the series.
Apart from the new smartphone, Xaiomi has also confirmed the launch of itsC next generation smartwatch — Mi Revolve Active.
