We’re getting another Pokemon Scarlet and Violet update this week

It’ll drop at 9AM ET on September 7 on The Pokemon Channel YouTube

Nintendo and The Pokemon Company have been trying an array of strategies for promoting Pokemon Scarlet and Violet: from primo Pokemon streams, to mysterious teases, to hasty trailer drops with new info. The next Scarlet and Violet update is going to be via the latter. Announced on Twitter, a new trailer for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet is on the way, and scheduled for tomorrow, September 7 at 9AM ET.

Typically these will showcase new mechanics, creatures, and storyline additions, clocking in at a few minutes long, or up to six-ish minutes. Sometimes these are accompanied with voiceovers that provide a ton of new info, coupled with website additions that elaborate on what was discussed in the video. Either way it’s all getting dropped at once at 9AM ET, so everyone can enjoy it at the same time. When that happens, you can find the video here, where it will just appear.

I’m not really sure what to expect or what I even need to see at this point beyond some sort of game-changing evolution for the series. So far Scarlet and Violet look like competent Pokemon games, and the “open world” seems to be the biggest focus thus far.
