Valorant: Global Esports CEO Shares the Impressive Amount That the Best North American and European Players Likely Earn

Rushindra Sinha, CEO of Indian Valorant organisation Global Esports, has shared a rather interesting insight into the game’s competitive scene.

Earlier this week, pro player Sinatraa came into the limelight, when Gods Reign CEO Rohith KR gave him an open contract offer worth $144,000 on Twitter to play for his team. Sinha had responded to the contract offer by pointing out that Sinatraa had signed an even bigger deal as a 17-year-old pro Overwatch player.

Following that, Sinha has now shared details about the kind of pay that the best North American and European Valorant players receive currently. In his recent tweet, the Global Esports CEO claimed that Tier 1 or the best players from the NA scene can earn anywhere between $35,000 – $40,000 a month. That would amount to an annual salary range of $420,000 – $480,000.

Sinha further pointed out that the best players from Europe can have a maximum monthly pay of $25,000, which would result in an annual salary of $300,000. As mentioned by the Global Esports head, teams pay these players massive wages, for not just their skills on the game, but also for the social media reach they have. These players have a huge following, which indirectly helps improve an organisation’s reputation and stature.

Like Sinha stated, these salaries are only reserved for the best, and lower tiered professionals might not be earning similar amounts. Instead, Sinha has claimed that an average pro player on a top team from these regions might be earning anywhere $10,000 – $12,000 a month, which is close to what Rohith KR offered Sinatraa to play for Gods Reign in India.
