The latest fighter update for UFC 4 was deployed yesterday evening, and finally adds Bantamweight fighter, Marlon ‘Chito’ Vera. Along with the addition of Chito, the new patch also updates the likeness for Featherweight Champion, Alexander Volkanovski, whilst also giving the champ a major rating change.
Fighter updates for UFC 4 don’t come around too often, with the last major patch releasing at the end of June. The updated added up and comer, Paddy Pimblett, who rose to fame in the United Kingdom’s Cage Warriors after becoming the Featherweight Champion. Alongside Pimblett, Tom Aspinall, Paul Craig, and Molly McCann were also added to the roster.
There aren’t as many fighters being added in the 17.00 update, but there are still some major changes to discover in-game.
Of course, the major part of the recent UFC 4 fighter update is the addition of Chito Vera. Even though Vera made his UFC debut 8 years ago, he was not a playable fighter in UFC 4 until the latest update. As displayed via in-game stats, Vera is a ‘balanced’ fighter type, with a four and a half star rating overall, meaning he’ll likely become a popular choice when fighting at bantamweight.

- Accuracy = 4
- Blocking = 4
- Head Movement = 4

The Featherweight Champion, Alexander Volkanovski, also got some love in the latest UFC 4 fighter update. As of patch 17.00, Volkanovski is now a five-star rated fighter and even received a likeness update to match his current appearance a little more accurately.
Neither fighters have scheduled fights, as both Vera and Volkanovski recently had bouts in April and July, respectively. Vera defeated Rob Font by unanimous decision at UFC On ESPN, whilst Volkanovski completed his trilogy with Max Holloway, once again defeating him by unanimous decision.
