The Last of Us TV Show’s First Footage Reveals New Looks at Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey as Joel and Ellie

In a new sizzle reel for HBO, fans got the first footage for The Last of Us TV show arriving in 2023.

While other shows like The Idol, The White Lotus and Succession were showcased just for a few seconds, The Last of Us received special mention at the end of the clip, with HBO hyping up its 2023 premiere.

The teaser starts off with Joel and Ellie traversing through the snow, as they try to survive a world gripped by the infected following the Cordyceps outbreak. In the upcoming series, popular Hollywood star Pedro Pascal will be playing the role of Joel with Bella Ramsey taking over the role of Ellie.

We then see a shot of Joel carrying his daughter Sarah, as he tries to escape from the chaos during outbreak day. Other than Joel and Ellie, we also get to see a shot of Nick Offerman, who plays Bill from the Naughty Dog-developed franchise.

Judging by the looks of its marketing, it seems like HBO has huge aspirations with the upcoming adaptation. Expect the show to be hard hitting and quite emotional as each death will probably break your heart into pieces, as Joel and Ellie try their hardest to survive in a world where humanity is at its worst.
